Still Healing
I am using photography to help me through this healing phase. So what follows are the images I have worked on, pouring myself into the photographs. The editing is healing, concentration and attention to detail are tools I use to move me away from feelings I still find difficult to cope with. So enjoy the photos and remember they are part of a human being’s healing process.
Petals
Chrysanthemum up close, nature really does make better art than I can imagine
Fire
I’ve been writing about fire so this chrysanthemum reflects the blaze of the flame, combine it with the photo above and you have the centre, blue, and the heat, yellow/gold.
Winter plant
As winter progresses the skeletons of plants are in sight. We see the detail, the fragility, the beauty of how things grow, in clear view.
Mist descends
Mysterious, silent, mist descends upon the world and we are reminded of spectres and the souls who float, not willing to let go of this world.
Trees stand tall, solid, rooted in the earth, where in its’ depths the work is continuing.
The splash of gold is what delights me. The texture, the contrast, the colour. Nature is the artist here, my job is to enhance.
Slowly healing.
Thank you for reading and seeing.
